    Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Jake Hernandez Bail Bonds ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, protects, and shares information about you when you visit jakehernandezbailbonds.com, submit a form, call (909) 406-6909, text our office, or use our bail bond services. We are a California-licensed bail bond agency (Lic #1K94408), and we treat every inquiry as confidential. Nobody calls us on a good day, and we understand that the fact you contacted a bondsman at all is sensitive information.

    Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to locate an inmate, quote a bond, underwrite a co-signer, and keep you updated. That includes contact information you provide (name, phone number, email address, mailing address), case-related details you choose to share (defendant name, date of birth, booking number, facility, charge, bail amount, court date), and co-signer financial information where you apply for a payment plan (employment, income verification, identification documents).

We also collect basic technical data automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed. This is used for site performance, fraud prevention, and understanding which resources visitors find useful. We use Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement; it does not receive your case details.

    How We Use Your Information

Information is used to respond to inquiries, locate a defendant in custody, quote and write a bond, verify co-signer eligibility, process payments and installment plans, send court date reminders, comply with California Department of Insurance recordkeeping obligations, and defend or enforce a bond if a defendant fails to appear. We do not use your case information to build advertising profiles.

We Do Not Sell Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to lead brokers, marketing networks, attorneys, rehabilitation programs, or any other third party. This matters in our industry: many websites that appear to be bail agencies are actually lead-generation operations that resell your phone number to multiple agencies, which is why some people receive a dozen calls after filling out one form. We are the agency that writes the bond, and your information stays with us.

    When We Share Information

We share information only where it is necessary to perform the service or where the law requires it: with the surety company underwriting the bond; with the detention facility and the court when posting a bond; with your attorney at your direction; with payment processors to complete a transaction; with our email and communications providers to deliver confirmations and reminders; and with regulators, courts, or law enforcement where legally compelled. Every vendor we use is bound by confidentiality obligations.

    Confidentiality in Practice

Our confidentiality commitment extends beyond data handling. We do not discuss your case with employers, neighbors, landlords, or extended family. Our agents arrive at detention facilities in unmarked vehicles and without clothing identifying them as bail agents. Voicemails we leave are generic unless you have told us it is safe to be specific. If you need us to contact you only at certain hours or only by text, tell us and we will note it on the file.

    SMS and Call Consent

By submitting a form or texting our office you consent to receive calls, text messages, and emails from us regarding your inquiry, your bond, payment installments, and upcoming court dates. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of messages at any time, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Transactional messages related to an active bond will continue for as long as the bond is in force, because missing a court reminder has legal consequences. Consent to marketing is never a condition of obtaining a bond.

    Data Security

Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored in access-controlled systems. Identification documents and financial records supplied for underwriting are restricted to the agents working your file. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; payments are handled by PCI-compliant processors. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to avoid sending sensitive documents over unsecured public Wi-Fi.

    Data Retention

California regulations require bail agencies to retain bond files for a defined period after a bond is exonerated. We keep bond and indemnitor records for the period required by the Department of Insurance and applicable statutes of limitation, then dispose of them securely. Inquiries that never become bonds are retained for a shorter period and can be deleted sooner on request.

    Your California Privacy Rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, request deletion of that information, and request that we not sell it (we do not sell it). Exercising these rights will never affect the price or quality of service you receive. Requests relating to an active bond may be limited by our regulatory recordkeeping obligations. To make a request, email info@jakehernandezbailbonds.com or call (909) 406-6909.

    Cookies

This website uses cookies for basic functionality and anonymous analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site remains fully usable, though some conveniences may not persist between visits.

    Children's Privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Where a juvenile matter is involved, we work with the parent or legal guardian.

    Third-Party Links

We link to county sheriff inmate locators, superior court websites, and other government resources for your convenience. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Review their policies before submitting information to them.

    Changes and Contact

We may update this policy as our services or the law change; the current version always governs. Questions about privacy, a data request, or how your information is being handled can be directed to info@jakehernandezbailbonds.com or to a live agent at (909) 406-6909, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
