DUI bail amounts in California are set by each county's bail schedule. The base figure depends on whether it's a first offense, prior priors, or involves injury.

Los Angeles: $5,000. Orange County: $2,500. San Diego: $2,500. Riverside: $5,000. San Bernardino: $25,000 (highest in the state).

Most counties: $50,000–$100,000 felony bail. Premium at 10% = $5,000–$10,000.
Second DUI within 10 years
Bail roughly doubles: $10,000–$50,000 depending on county and BAC.
DUI with prior felony or DUI with death (PC 191.5)
$100,000–$1,000,000. Often "no bail" pending arraignment.
Enhancements that raise bail
BAC over 0.15, child in vehicle, refusal to test, accident, or driving on a suspended license each add $1,000–$10,000 to the bond.
